Uncertainty Quantification

May 9 - May 13, 2016

Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) is concerned with describing the effects of error, uncertainty, and stochastic variation on results based on simulation and prediction of mathematical and statistical models of phenomena used in science and engineering. This workshop will bring together leading researchers working on the following aspects of UQ:
*Forward propagation of stochastic variation through differential equations.
*Stochastic inverse problems for parameters in physics models.
*Multiphysics models with uncertainty in modeling and physical domain.
